Below you'll find all the info about what goes into our cakes, cupcakes, cream fillings and more!

ALLERGIES

While we do our best to keep ingredients separate, we cannot guarantee that any of our baked goods are allergen-free as we use shared equipment to store, prepare and serve all of our cakes & sweets.

BUTTERCREAM

The (outside) frosting we use is a silky Swiss meringue buttercream. Our recipe has a much lower sugar and butter content than other buttercreams (e.g. American buttercream), which makes our cakes less sweet and more flavor-driven. 

We go to great lengths to temper our buttercream to 22 degrees celsius, which is the secret to the creamiest buttercream experience. 

FRESH CREAM-BASED FILLING

Which is used to layer all of our cakes (apart from Peanut butter filling which based on Swiss meringue buttercream), is what you ya´ll love the most about our cakes: the fluffy, light cream - which isn´t heavy and just right on the sugar level!

We currently offer the following flavors:

VANILLA & CHOCOLATE //

Moist chocolate cake, layered with swirls of dark chocolate ganache & filled with vanilla cream

CHOCOLATE & OREO //

Moist chocolate cake, layered with swirls of dark chocolate ganache & filled with Oreo cookie cream

VANILLA & MIXED BERRIES //

Pillow soft vanilla & mixed berries cake, layered with swirls of red berries sauce & vanilla cream

CHOCOLATE, RED BERRIES & VANILLA //

Moist chocolate cake, layered with swirls of red berries sauce & filled with vanilla cream

PEANUT BUTTER & CHOCOLATE //

Moist chocolate cake, layered with swirls of dark chocolate ganache and Swiss meringue buttercream

MATCHA & CHOCOLATE //

Moist chocolate cake, layered with swirls of dark chocolate ganache and & filled with Matcha cream

BANANA, VANILLA & SALTED CARAMEL //

Moist banana cake, layered with swirls of salted caramel & filled with vanilla cream

SALTED CARAMEL - VANILLA //

POPPY SEEDS LEMON & RED BERRIES//

(Wedding cake flavor only)

Please be careful of the little ones as a few of our designs includes marshmallows, bubblegums, sprinkles, and other small elements

which can be a choking hazard.

All cakes should be served to the little ones under an adult supervision

 
 

HOW TO STORE YOUR CAKe

All cakes have different needs (high maintenance we know!),

but rule of thumb is: cake — fridge. Cookies — not fridge.

But never fear, you will receive cake care instructions when you receive your cake.

If you have plenty of leftovers, transfer to an airtight container!

CUPCAKES

We bake our cupcakes fresh in the morning of your pickup/ delivery, and we recommend that you enjoy them within 24 hours.

It is important to keep the cupcakes in the fridge and serve at room temperature (unless otherwise specified).

A chilled cupcake feels denser and will seem dryer. Please always bring to room temp before serving (about 2 hours in advance).

CAKES
Store in the fridge, in the bakery box.
 Our cakes must be served at just below room temp – I insist!

Our cake tastes best when chilled, at just below room temperature.

lease take it out 1-2 hours before serving to ensure soft cake and creamy buttercream.

COOKIES

Should stay at room temperature at all times.

Cookie Sandwiches keep well for up to 3 days after purchase if properly cared for.

To preserve freshness, plastic wrap the bakery box or transfer to an airtight container

 

HOW TO transporT

YOUR CAKe

* Each cake comes on a very stable cake board, in a carton box.

Lift carefully from the bottom of the box, taking care not to squeeze the sides.

BY CAR

The safest place for your cake is on the floor of the backseat area of your vehicle (= an even, flat space with minimal room for the cake box to slide around).

In summer, It’s ideal to have air conditioning that works well to keep your car and cake nice and cool.

Your cake is beautiful and we want it to stay lovely from the time you leave our shop to the time it arrives at its final destination.

DO NOT drive with the cake box on the car seat, as it can cause the cake to slope during transportation. 

If you are transporting your cake to a destination that is further than 30-45 minutes away (especially in summer),

please let us know so we can take special care to have your cake nice and chilled when you pick it up.

* For especially hot days: ask us about our cool box rental option.

- Once to the destination - Keep in the fridge, preferably in the original box. You will be informed how long in advance the cake should be taken out to room temperature before serving (depending on flavor & weather, normally between 30-90 minutes)


- Keep the cake somewhere chill, and NEVER EVER not in direct sun.

BY PUBLICK TRANSPORT

You might want to bring a big bag to carry the box (think BIG blue IKEA-bag!).

Make sure the cake box stable and lays straight at all times.
 

BY BIKE

You do not want to collect your cake by bike. Trust us on that one.
